DEATH

Why do we die and where do we go?
Where will you go?

Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

( Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 15:22 )

"Death passed upon ALL MEN, for the wages of sin is death."
 

The wages, the payment, of sin is Death.

Death exists because of sin.
Man's sin, has corrupted and cursed all of creation.

It's not hard to see that the world isn't right, filled with problems, filled with disease, war and death.
So death exists because of sin.
We all die because we have all sinned.

The fact that death exists and that we all die, shows there is something wrong with God's creation.

And trying to be a "good person" or trying to bring "peace on earth" cannot fix man's problem of sin.
It's too late, God says we ALL MUST be saved from our sins.

"For as in Adam all die."
Adam, the first man, sinned and brought death to all men, because we all come from Adam.
Adam and Eve are the first parents, but because of their sin, they passed the curse of sin onto everyone.
We are no longer in the image of God, but we are born in the image of Adam, fallen man, cursed with sin.
And so being sinners, no one can get to heaven when they die.
That's why mankind needs a Saviour!

God did not create a world of death, and yet we all die.
The Holy Bible, the word of God, tells us that the whole world is cursed because of sin.
And that we too have all sinned against God, just as Adam and Eve did.

Satan is the author of death.
He enticed Adam and Eve to sin, bringing death into the world.

"that through death HE (Jesus) might destroy him (Satan) that had the power of death, that is, the devil;"

HE = Jesus Christ.
Him = Satan.

Christ came to defeat the power of Satan who drew the world into sin, bringing death into the world, taking the world to Hell.
But the believer has the promise from God that his Son has defeated death by dying and rising again the third day, and offering the free gift of Salvation to all who trust in Him.

SATAN = Sin = Death = Hell.
JESUS = Salvation = Eternal Life = Heaven.

Jesus Christ had to come down into our world as a man, be tempted with sin just like us, but deny temptation and live a sinless life.
Then he could give his life for us.
And so, on the cross, the sins of the world, the judgement for sin, was placed upon Him instead of us.
And he died in our place, for our sins.
The judgement for our sins were placed on him, Jesus.
And the righteousness of Jesus, is then placed on the Believer.

God raised Christ from the dead, showing that God has power over Satan and death.
Jesus Christ went through the Devil's path of sin, death and hell and rose again, defeating the Devil.

Now all who trust that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of their sins, is free from the condemnation of sin.

John 5:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

He that heareth my word - the Holy Bible.
And believeth on him that sent me - God.
Hath everlasting life - the promise of a place in Heaven and eternal life. 

And shall not come into condemnation - you shall not face judgement for your sins.
But is passed from death unto life. - the believer has the promise of Heaven and eternal life, after death.

If when we die we go to Heaven, and then live with Christ for ever, coming back with him.
Then death, is no longer death, for the Believer.
But you must believe to have your sins taken away.
You must hand your sins to Jesus Christ and thank him for dying to save you.
This is praying.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

1 Corinthians 15:55

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Death, where is thy sting.
If you are Saved, a believer in Jesus Christ, you don't have to fear death, it has lost it's sting because you know you are going to heaven because of your faith in the Saviour.

Grave, where is thy victory?
If you are Saved, you are promised a new resurrected body. The grave loses it's victory when it must give up your mortal body which God will change and make new because of your faith in the Saviour.

This is why the "Bible Believer" preaches the GOSPEL, the good news, of your Salvation.
You have a promise of eternal life with God, through your faith in His Son as your Saviour.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If a man see his own sin, admits to God that he is a sinner, seeking God to save him.
That man must receive Jesus Christ as his own personal Saviour, then all their sins are taken away.
This has nothing to do with religion or good works or trying to be a good person.
That's the lie of the devil, to make you think doing good will get you to heaven.
Doing good cannot take away the sins you have already done, and you will sin again in the future.
You must be washed clean from all sins.
 

The Saved, are washed clean by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, and made new.
Once you are saved from your sins, you are a "new creature IN CHRIST" put back into the image of God and NOW able to got to Heaven when you die and have the free gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
This is God's promise, written down in the Holy Bible, called the word of God.
God has given the Saved Believer, His word, His promise!

"Even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
In Adam all die - the world.
In Christ all are made alive - the saved believer.

"Ye must be born again."
Now you are "IN CHRIST" and saved by your faith in Him.
You are now a "BORN AGAIN BELIEVER" a true Christian, saved from sin, death and hell.
You don't need to fear death any more.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The only way to get to Heaven when you die, is through faith in Jesus Christ as your own personal saviour.
You MUST get saved before die.
Pray and ask Jesus Christ to save you from your sins.
And then, tell others the good news.

Dying isn't the worry, dying unsaved, without Christ as your Saviour, that's the terrifying part.
