PEACE ON EARTH?
The whole world lieth in wickedness.

Isaiah 48:22

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

God says the whole world lies in wickedness, and that there is no peace for the wicked.

The world has been fighting for peace since the beginning of the fall of man.
But the LORD says there cannot be peace on earth because the world is cursed, because of sin.

War is judgement for sin in this world.
Hell is judgement for sin after this world.

There will never be peace on earth until the Lord Jesus Christ returns and sits on the throne as King over the whole world.
But because man is sinful, sinful man doesn't want God.
Man wants sin in his life rather than God in his life.
And without God, there can never be peace in a world cursed with sin.
 

Luke 2:14

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Does God get glory on the earth?
Without God there is no peace, and man wars with man.
Only God can save us from ourselves, because WE are the problem.
And our problem is sin.

Sin is the cause of death.
Death only exists because of sin.
Old age, disease, murder and war, all exist because this world is cursed because of sin.
Sin = Death = Hell.

You Must Get Saved From Your Sins To Get To Heaven.

Who gave himself (Jesus) for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

 

2 Corinthians 5:21

For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
 

The wrath of God for sinful man, was placed upon his Son, Jesus Christ, instead of you and me.
Christ came to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins.
Everyone has sinned against God, and so everyone MUST be saved and have their sins taken away.

Most of the world has denied God's Son.
And so the judgment for sin remains on all those who reject Christ as their Saviour.
There can never be peace in this world because sin must be paid for.

There can never be peace in this world because the god of this world is Satan, the author of sin.

Only the saved believer in Jesus Christ has peace in this world.
Because the saved believer has the promise of eternal life and a place in Heaven, because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

"O death, where is thy sting?"

"O grave, where is thy victory?"

Death has no sting if you are saved by the Lord Jesus Christ from your sins.
The grave has no victory if you are saved and going to Heaven because of your faith in Jesus Christ.
